Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts, the tiny miniature cabbages, are full of anticancer fighting properties and when cooked well can be a delicious and nutritious addition to any meal.  With just a few simple steps, these little green health bombs can be transformed into a flavorful side dish.  Below is my simple and easy way to prepare brussels sprouts.

What you will need:

Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

Olive Oil

Salt and Pepper

What you will do:

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.  Drizzle olive oil onto sprouts and toss with salt and pepper.  Transfer sprouts to baking tray, arrange in a single layer and roast in the oven for 30-45 minutes or until sprouts have nice carmelization.
